Job Description:

contractor position for a Program Manager to oversee the project management interface with some of our largest customers in North America (large Cable or Telecom operators) for our Gateway & Extender product lines.

Familiar with the latest Hardware & Software technologies for Broadband operators, the CPM will drive projects with cross-functional teams and of our customers from initial concept specification and pre-sales activities to commercial deployment and feature evolutions.

The Customer Program Manager will own coordination with multiple teams inside the organization (Product, Engineering, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain), external partners (chipseters, Software companies, external labs) and multiple teams of our customers (Product, Engineering, Field ops). The CPM will ensure accuracy of customer requirements, tracking of priorities and deliveries, and proper management of escalations. The CPM will produce advanced reporting tailored to multiple audiences. The CPM will assist in creating impactful material for customer communication.

This contractor will be based in Dallas  and is part of the North American Broadband Solutions group. Prior experience with Broadband operators and WIFI or 4G/5G Wireless products is strongly desired.

Responsibilities:

Program Management for business critical & complex projects in a customer-facing role

Guarantee proper management of customer specification documents for Hardware & Software requirements

Work closely with Engineering and Product Management to build complete project plans from feasibility study to development, qualification, delivery and final approval for commercial deployment

Close relationship with technology partners (chipset manufacturers, 3
rd party Software solutions) to resolve escalations and drive the feature roadmap

Prioritization of critical activities and tickets

Monitoring and continuous improvement of product KPIs and performance in the field

Work with the Sales team to manage customer expectations and satisfaction

Skills and Knowledge:

Project / Program Management experience is a MUST (5-10 years)

Previous experience in the Telecom/Broadband or IT/Networking industry is preferred

Previous experience in a customer facing role is a preferred

Familiarity with Broadband technologies such as IP, Voice over IP, IPTV, Cable, Fiber, Wireless 4G/5G, Ethernet, WiFi, TR069, Mesh, IoT, Cloud-based solutions, Quality of Service

Excellent oral & written communication in English. Ability to present in front of C-level audience

Ability to work with remote teams in multiple time zones across North America, Europe and Asia

Excellent organization skills and autonomy to work on multiple projects in parallel

Proficiency in technical project management tools: JIRA, Bugzilla, MS Project, MS Teams, MS Office
