Please find the below JD and share your interest, Job title: Postgres SQL DBA with Azure cloud Work Location : Nashville, TN Contract duration: 12 months Need hybrid model from Day 1 JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL SME to: provide a good understanding of Oracle Administration coupled with a track record of working in large financial institutions. provide production support of PostgreSQL 11.x and Oracle 11g / 18c / 19c. build and supported High Availability solutions, using varied technologies share ideas and work closely with application teams migrate databases to new platforms using multiple techniques report on progress in a clear and timely fashion Your expertise experience in large enterprises supporting 500+ servers and database sizes in GB/TB's and with database upgrades & migrations, cloning , backup, restore & recovery, ideally using ora2pg;pg_dump;pg_restore and RMAN (applicable to infrastructure which has standalone and clustered databases using filesystem based or ASM based storage) understanding of Cloud technologies (Preferably Microsoft Azure) experience with database migrations from on-premise to cloud (IAAS and PAAS) familiar in Unix system administration relevant to PostgreSQL and Oracle database management. experience in RAC/ASM, Grid Control Management, Golden Gate replication. proficient in PostgreSQL HA/DR solutions - preferably Patroni proficient in Oracle Standby and Data Guard technology able to diagnose and resolve performance issues, connectivity/security issues and database corruptions in a critical production environment self-driven, multitasking with ability to work under pressure and able to manage, priorities and solve problems quickly and completely experience in ITIL process & ticketing systems is added advantage Keywords: trade national Tennessee |
