The job description is Role: Tidal / Axway Administrator Location Remote Duration: Fulltime Mandatory Skills: Administrators Tidal / Axway tIDAL - Handle licensing of the Tidal application. - Handle planning and execution of upgrades. - Move completed job schedules into Production. - Disable or enable active jobs as needed. - Trouble shoot unexplained issues developers have. - Coordinate with Network, Server Engineers, and DBAs as needed. - Create monitoring reports on the health of the application. - Do weekly maintenance during the maintenance windows to prepare for the following week. - Evaluate new offerings and adapters offered by Tidal as to cost and value. - Participate in DR tests. - Deleting out old configurations no longer needed. - Creating a weekly Archiving for job recovery in both Test and Prod - Doing Tidal request tickets. - Adding/deleting new users. - Assisting developers with job configurations if requested or when issues arise from improperly configured jobs. - Creating reports and updating the Tidal SharePoint site. - Coordinating the activities and resolving Tidal issues as experienced by the Operators. - Creating summary job reports in Excel for developers as needed. - Changing and updating passwords for Tidal Service IDs and for IDs used internally by Tidal. - Serve as SMEs where needed. Axway - Create Axway transfer jobs. - Assist in testing those jobs modifying as needed until they work properly. - Trouble shooting issues with transfer failures. - Assisting those with licenses that do ADHOC transfers if needed. - Cleaning out old jobs in directories. - Sending out password expiration reminders and changing the service ID passwords when it is required. - Assisting the network team to rework jobs that cause issues with delaying downloads or uploads. Capturing and reporting metrics from Axway.
