Job Description:

The Information Security IAM Operational Manager possesses in-depth knowledge and experience leading a team of Information Security Administrators and Analysts in support of an Enterprise Identity and Access Management program. This leader should have experience with Identity & Access Management enterprise solutions and business process engineering as it relates to workforce and customer identity management. The manager should also have experience with driving process transformation, to align people, process, and technology in support of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA); RBAC and automation. Responsibilities include ensuring stability of IAM platforms and/or services, resolution of incidents, problem management, maintenance, support, change control, and automation of processes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead operational and service delivery activities for the IAM program.

Strategy and planning of project initiative and prioritization of efforts.

Support IAM operation initiatives by leading the creation of process & specification documents.

Maintain all operational aspects of the IAM environment (IGA, PAM, & authentication)

Manages ServiceNow queue facilitating provisioning and de-provisioning of IT and Business critical apps.

Ensure IAM support processes are tracked against SLAs.

Participates in production issue resolution for applicable IAM problems, escalate issues as appropriate.

Partner with security stakeholders to ensure alignment between security control framework (NIST)

Engage proactively with key stakeholders and partners outside security, including IT and Application teams to align roadmaps, security capabilities, and resources accordingly.

Performs process improvement analysis and targets manual IAM procedures for enhancements or automation.

Develop performance metrics in support of IAM services.

Manages and develops team members along a career path within IAM.

Conducts team meetings, operating reviews, and performance reviews.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

Knowledge of Okta workforce and external customer concepts (CIAM)

Experience with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC single sign-on

Implement & upgrade Okta radius, AD, and Okta browser plug-in.

Experience enabling SSO for web and mobile applications.

 Experience Multi factor Authentication (MFA) implementation and configuration

Solid understanding of PAM SaaS architecture

Experience maintaining Identity Governance & Administration SaaS platform.

General IAM Concepts (Role based access control, least privilege, etc)

Experience managing Active Directory User and Group administration.

Customer service skills

Recruit and retain high performing IAM colleagues.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Cybersecurity or Computer Information Systems.

5+ years of experience leading a team.

8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting IAM systems (Identity Provider (Okta, Ping, Auth0), Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance)

CERTIFICATIONS (Nice to Have)

Okta Professional Certified

Okta Administrator Certified
