The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems and processes, particularly within the healthcare industry. If you have a strong background in EDI, SQL, EDI transaction validation, and possess a good understanding of healthcare claims workflow, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of EDI solutions within the healthcare domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document EDI requirements specific to healthcare operations. Monitor and maintain EDI transaction processes in the healthcare sector to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve EDI transaction issues related to healthcare data in a timely manner. Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate healthcare-related data. Conduct thorough testing and validation of EDI transactions in the healthcare industry to meet business needs. Maintain EDI documentation for healthcare processes and provide training to end-users as needed. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to EDI in healthcare. Assist in the design and implementation of EDI-related enhancements and improvements in healthcare settings. Participate in on-call support rotation as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Minimum 8 years of experience in EDI analysis and support within the healthcare sector. Proficiency in EDI standards and protocols, particularly in healthcare. Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation. Good knowledge of claims and or eligibility workflow in the healthcare payer industry. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills within healthcare contexts. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy in healthcare data. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
