Facilitates teams engaged in mission-critical work, especially where new thought patterns are required. Works with teams that have complex dynamics, promoting collaboration at a higher level both internally and with other teams. Proficient in Scrum, Kanban, and at least one scaled agile framework. Guides teams through all agile events, including iteration planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Establishes working agreements, definition of ready, and definition of done. Adheres to agile chapter guidelines including defining an established team and elements of team excellence. Implements metrics to assess team, agile release train (ART), and journey performance (e.g., burn-up, burndown, lead/cycle times, velocity trends, cumulative flow diagrams). Assists teams/journeys/ART in forecasting work, reviewing performance, and taking necessary action to align with forecasts. Guides teams and journeys in creating a vision and roadmap. Assists in creating program increment (PI) backlogs based on vision and roadmap. Utilizes tools like Feature Kanban to manage feature lifecycle and drive backlog management. Ensures the backlog meets exit criteria for each stage. Guides teams in meeting criteria where necessary. Facilitates and supports PI planning using published guidance. Contributes to all aspects of PI planning, including retrospectives, innovation, and education workshops. Supports product owners through the discovery, design, and change management aspects of planning. Ensures teams stay focused on the PI plan. Escalates any changes in direction away from the Program Increment Plan to Senior Product Owners for guidance to teams. Looking forward to work with you!
