Java Developer Location: Pittsburgh, PA Hybrid work schedule, Need Only Local Candidate Role Hybrid, 3 days on site (Tuesday through Thursday), (Must be Local Candidate only or distance must be 1 hour drive) Duration: 12 Month Contract to hire Visa: Citizen or GC only WebLogic / Web Center Portal Developer qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 4 to 7 years of experience in software development required with WebLogic/Web Center Portal and Java/J2EE technologies. Experienced in 3-tier, n-tier, cloud computing (AWS), micro services architectures and SOA. 3+ years of Hands-on experience designing and developing micro services using Java/Spring Boot, Node.js 3+ years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, Graph QL, and Swagger Develop and build micro services leveraging AWS Cloud Services Must have hands on experience in writing RESTful web services using Spring/JAXRS Experience developing within agile methodology using CI/CD pipeline. Experience supporting and/or implementing complex integration projects. Experience with Spring Portlet development Must have good working knowledge of Html, Ajax, jQuery, Java Script Must have experience with Oracle RDBMS. Exposure to PL/SQL is a big plus. AWS Cloud development experience and AWS Developer Certification highly desired Experience with Web Center ADF Framework and Remote portlet configurations with Web Center Spaces/Portal is a plus. Experience implementing top-notch user interfaces using JavaScript and the Angular framework. Must have working experience with SVN/GIT or with other equivalent source control systems. Must have working experience as part of a large team with ability to work independently. Experience configuring Web service security policies is a plus. Experience with secure coding practices Good to have exposure to SOA suite middleware.
