Interview Mode: 1st round virtual 2nd round f2f onsite Requirements and skills Experience with Microsoft development tools: Visual Studio (2012 or later), web technologies - ASP/ASP.NET (4.0 and 4.5), HTML, JavaScript, Access, and SQL Server database. Knowledge of software development using JDeveloper JQuery, JavaScript and C#. Ability to oversee and monitor the work of others. Effective organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Work independently on small projects. Take directives from management and perform tasks efficiently. Strong passion and thirst to keep up with new industry trends and standards Preferred Skills Local/Federal government experience is a plus. Prefer experience with GIS application development, using desktop and web-based tools (preferably ESRI ArcGIS Server and ArcObjects). Prefer knowledge, understanding and utilization of the standard ESRI methodology of geodatabase design. Prefer knowledge of GIS software including ESRI ArcGIS for Desktop products and doing GIS Data Modeling and Geodatabase Administration. Experience working in a government organization is a plus. Secure coding/development experience is preferred. Responsibilities To design and develop Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications and integrate GIS web services with .Net applications. To maintain and support ArcGIS Server and ArcObject applications in development, QA, and production environments. Must be able to ensure that GIS applications adhere to current IT infrastructure standards and maintain performance and scalability. Must be capable of providing recommendations for technicians on map publishing techniques to ensure data integrity and continuation of operations. Must be able to develop new applications as well as enhancements and perform migration of existing applications. Must be able to develop applications for the mobile environment. Must understand how to resolve version conflicts and/or spatial (topology) and attribute errors that arise during versioning and exporting of updated (edited) data in ArcSDE. Must have the ability to create and administer multi-versioned Geodatabase and perform multi-user edits for ArcGIS client applications. Must be able to prepare detailed specification and technical design documents. Must be effective working with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. Must be willing and able to train and mentor junior developers. Follow development methodologies and standards for systems design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of applications software. Deliver the final product on time and within budget.
