The ideal candidate will work on a small team that collaborates with groups across the organization, have confident communication skills, strong multi-tasking abilities, and excellent troubleshooting experience involving complex technical issues. Position Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and administration of middleware infrastructure including WebServers, Application Servers, Messaging on Apache Tomcat, JBoss, IBM MQ, AMQ, Dot-Net, API gateways, and other complex engineering technologies on Linux, Windows OS Knowledge of MuleSoft 4.x Platform Administration Drive the implementation of DevOps practices, tools, and automation to streamline the SDLC Drive deployment process and infrastructure management Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and conduct capacity planning Implement performance testing and optimization strategies Drive initiatives to improve system stability, reliability by implementing SRE principles, incident response, post-mortem, disaster recovery, and chaos engineering Ensure security compliance of middleware systems by implementing best practices Access vulnerability, as recommended by Cybersecurity team, with an understanding of security protocols Collaborate with IT teams including but not limited to Developers, System and Network Administrators, Database Architects, Infrastructure, Technical Operations, and Security teams for continuous support and improvement Provide 24/7 operations support for production and other critical environments Establish and employ continuous integration practices and tools Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to IT teams promoting professional knowledge sharing Focus on multiple areas and provide leadership to the engineering teams Own complete solution across its entire life cycle Influence and build vision with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve complex problems for building enterprise-class business applications Accountable for the quality, usability, and performance of the solutions Lead in design sessions and code reviews to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization Utilize programming languages like Python, C# or other object-oriented languages, SQL, and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and services Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across team Qualifications Fluency in DevOps, Middleware concepts, Operational Framework and Cloud Architecture Ability to ensure high availability and scalability of applications and infrastructure by implementing monitoring and alerting solutions with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana or similar tools to detect and resolve issues Strong expertise with DevOps KPIs, configurable monitoring dashboards to monitor trends, metrics, progress, and workflow Experience with management of configurations, provisioning of infrastructure resources using infrastructure-as-code tools, techniques with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) or similar Experience in project management working across IT teams on project requirements, setting goals, and ensuring their successful executions Strong problem solving and analytical skills to triage complex technical issues Experience with software tools such as Microsoft ADO, SharePoint, PowerBI, Helix, Confluence or similar Fluency and Specialization with at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python or C# including object-oriented design Experience in building products using micro-services oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs Experience building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code Fluency in DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework Experience in leveraging PowerShell scripting Experience in existing Operational Portals such as Azure Portal Experience in application monitoring tools and performance assessments: Splunk or Application Insights Experience in Datacenter structure, capabilities, and offerings, including the Azure platform, and its native services Experience in security protocols and products: Understanding of Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth Experience in Azure Network (Subscription, Security zoning, etc.) Experience in Genesis In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication) Wiki (Atlassian), CI/CD Pipeline, tesla, Azure Just-in-Time (JIT), VM Access, Azure Cloud Services (Classic), Azure Active Directory, Azure Automation Accounts Design and development of ALM features Development and Management EAP Strong problem-solving ability Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment Experience 6+ years of professional DevOps experience 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks 3+ years of experience with architecture and design 3+ years of
