Title: SharePoint Developer (Healthcare Background) Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Maximum Pay rate: $58/hr only ***Remote*** Job Description: Justification: We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of SharePoint Developer/Architect for a 6-month contract with the possibility of converting to a permanent position (FTE) based on performance. Principal Duties: The SharePoint Developer/Architect will be responsible for the overall construction and implementation of an Enterprise SharePoint environment(s), as well as the Corporate Intranet platform. This position requires knowledge and experience with SharePoint technologies including SharePoint 2019 and Office 365. The immediate need is for expertise with SPFx. General tasks & Deliverables: SharePoint 2019 development experience, including the creation/development of custom SPFx solutions SharePoint Application development life cycle planning, architecture, construction, implementation, packaging, and deployment Use SharePoint Framework SPFx to create custom applications using SharePoint Must be proficient with NodeJS, NPM, HTML5, JavaScript, JSON, React, Typescript, CSS, SQL, responsive design Must either know or be willing to learn API creation using NodeJS and how to deploy solutions Build custom forms and workflows with Nintex Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues Providing SharePoint support and end-user training SharePoint Technical lead/advisor Use SharePoint Framework SPFx to create website designs with OOTB, UI extension, page layouts, themes, and display templates. Code pages using HTML5, JavaScript, and Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap or responsive design for all devices. Create web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management Qualifications/Required Skills: Preferred 2 years of experience in a SharePoint developer role using SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online/O365 Preferred one-year experience developing webparts (SPFx) and UI extensions like application customizers, field customizers, and custom web parts Experience creating SharePoint out of the box apps or collaborative tools to include lists, document/form libraries, discussion boards, surveys calendars, the ribbon, web parts, workflows, etc. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized and work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests Advanced knowledge and understanding of SDLC process, performing unit testing, and packaging to deploy from DEV to PROD Must be able to write documentation that fully supports any code that is written. Must be able to brainstorm with others, thrive in a collaborative team environment, multitask, and quickly adapt to change Excellent knowledge around UI/UX Minimum Qualifications: A Developer assists in designing, developing, and supporting applications. These applications include systems developed solely for the web environment as well as development efforts designed to web-enable end-user applications. This individual may also assist in the creation and ongoing management of corporate web sites and intranet communities. The Developer will have a thorough understanding of programming techniques and tools, web development, and system management tools. General Tasks & Responsibilities Will Include: Develop and understand all features of each a module and their impact on other modules. Analyze and develop understanding of how data flows through the system and apply that knowledge to the current business model. Identify and define system errors and/or deficiencies. Liaise with other developers (i.e., software, application, web, etc.) to determine best path solutions and manage the priorities through collaboration with internal stakeholders. Plan and coordinate testing and implementation of system patches and upgrades leading a cross functional team of power users. Extract key business performance metrics. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine areas of opportunity for increased efficiencies. Create written user documentation, instructions, and procedures for the purpose of training new employees and improving over-all user proficiency. Evaluate new technologies for potential implementation including development of business justification and project implementation planning, when appropriate. Utilizing in-house or external resources, manage the network and related hardware. Ensure that help-desk tasks are promptly addressed and resolved. Educational Level: A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study; and Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications. Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years). Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience. Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniques; or A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. Years of Experience: Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications. Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).
