Having knowledge on Devops concepts is an advantage. No certification required. Detailed JD below We are searching for an Azure Lab Technology Specialist with an affinity for innovation and a familiarity with of cloud native applications with a passion for exploration. This role requires a blend of Azure expertise, hands-on experimentation. The ideal candidate is curious, innovative, and has a strong knack for hands-on experimentation and building proof-of-concepts (POCs) and blueprints.. Technical Skills: Azure-Driven Technology Exploration & POC Development: Keep up with the latest advancements in Azure and associated technologies. Experiment hands-on with Azure capabilities, integrating them with novel and emerging technologies. Assess the feasibility, scalability, and relevance of these integrations in a lab setting. Construct and fine-tune Azure-centric POCs to demonstrate the working of the technologies. Iteratively improve POCs based on feedback, aligning them with requirements. Design and develop blueprints for solutions in the Azure platform that align with technical requirements. Facilitate application migrations from PCF to AKS. Collaborative Development with Vendors Work closely with vendors to develop, customize, and implement solutions in the lab. Assess vendor solutions for compatibility, scalability, and security, ensuring they fit the technological landscape and objectives. Cloud-Native Expertise: Experience and deep familiarity with cloud-native principles, architectures, and technologies will be a significant asset. This includes knowledge of microservices, containerization, orchestration, elastic scalability, resilience strategies, API-driven communication, and the use of managed cloud services. Familiarity with Java-based applications will be an asset. Prior experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) will be a significant asset. Collaboration and Reporting: Engage with architects and other teams, syncing lab activities with overarching project goals. Present insights, discoveries, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making. Process Skills: Thorough understanding of agile methodology Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong experience with Azure services, infrastructure, and development. Familiarity with cloud-native principles, architectures, and technologies Previous experience in a research or lab setting, especially focused on technology exploration and POC development is an asset. Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving aptitude. Effective communication skills, with proficiency in conveying intricate technical details in a coherent manner.
