As a Cyber Operations Research Analyst on our team, youll work with the operational engineering team to support data architecture activities impacting Veteran Affairs (VA) current cybersecurity capabilities. You understand the nuances of complex situations and use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. Youll bring your analytical background to research and assess the effectiveness of information systems, security tools, and engineering systems that support the client. Youll assist the client in turning cybersecurity needs and capabilities into detailed technical solutions. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of subject matter principles and concepts to carry out the following duties and responsibilities. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia. You Have: 5+ years of experience of analysis, developing solutions, providing recommendations, and implementing course of action plans to support large complex enterprise systems Experience assessing and researching solutions for security tools and information assurance documentation Experience responding to queries and requests for computer security information and reports Knowledge of Cybersecurity operations, federal compliance standards, FISMA, and NIST 800 series Ability to develop and present in-depth briefings and presentations Ability to work independently and collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, analysts, technical and non-technical personnel Ability to communicate and analyze complex ideas and solutions to diverse client and internal audiences by assisting in the production, editing, publishing, and dissemination through clear and concise cyber analytic products Ability to conduct in-depth technical studies requiring specialized skills or knowledge Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Math, or technical equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience or a total of 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of education Thanks Khursheed Keywords: Virginia |
