Title: Power BI Architect Location: Denver, Colorado- Onsite Visa USC/GC Duration 6 months CTH Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Power BI Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business requirements, and leverage your expertise to create visually appealing, insightful, and interactive reports and dashboards. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and understand business requirements, data sources, and reporting needs. Design and develop end-to-end Power BI solutions, including data modeling, data transformation, and visualization components. Create and maintain complex data models to ensure efficient and accurate data retrieval for reporting purposes. Develop visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards that provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. Optimize performance of Power BI solutions by tuning data models, queries, and report rendering processes. Implement best practices for data visualization and storytelling, ensuring the reports effectively convey key insights. Provide expertise and guidance on Power BI capabilities, limitations, and industry trends to stakeholders. Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all reports and dashboards. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on Power BI functionalities and encourage self-service reporting. Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and advancements, integrating them into the organization's reporting strategy. Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to data connections, refresh schedules, and report performance. Lead the evaluation and selection of new tools and technologies that complement the Power BI ecosystem. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or related field. Proven experience (7 years) as a Power BI Developer, Power BI Consultant, or similar role. Strong expertise in data modeling, data transformation, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and M Query language. Demonstrated experience in designing and developing interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards. Proficiency in data visualization best practices and an eye for creating compelling data-driven stories. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with ETL processes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize Power BI solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience in integrating Power BI with other Microsoft products and services is a plus.
