Senior Systems Engineer - Required Skills- MUST HAVES: Experienced in VMware ESXi, Vsphere, Linux and VCenter including creating virtual machines, templates, patching, familiarity with snapshots, and routine operations such as datastore creation and removal processes. Oversee Windows, VMware, Linux and Citrix environments, keeping them current, secure, and available always. Advanced understanding of networking including WAN/LAN/VLAN/SDWAN. Knowledge or Certifications in Fortinet (Fortiswitch, Fortianalyer, Fortimanager) Knowledge of routers (Cisco), and NG firewall technologies with TCPIP, DNS, SAML and SSO, SSL and Certificate Management, VPN connectivity and MFA solutions Triage ServiceNow ticketing queue for end-user and support team issues. Accomplished at building, troubleshooting, and managing Windows 2016/2019 Server: Linux operating systems. Aptitude for Active Directory support, creating and troubleshooting security groups, accounts, group, and policy management. Strong administration skills, troubleshooting skills and ability to work a problem to completion. Ability to travel to regional company sites to establish relationships and support OT/SCADA operations, outages, troubleshooting, upgrades and patches. Familiar with one or more client OT specific technologies including: VMware/Vcenter; Claroty; Cisco networking equipment; Fortinet equipment; ServiceNow; Solarwinds; Azure; SCCM; Synology; Rubrik; Aveva; Stratix; NextGen firewalls; Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture (PERA). Ability to configure and troubleshoot critical applications for OT/SCADA environments, load balancing and optimizing performance, troubleshoot issues, and configure templates and rules. Experience supporting: OT/SCADA; IoT; ICS; DCS; Azure; AD; Private Cloud; and SaaS environments. Ability to support the company with outages, troubleshooting, communications, notifications, projects, and ticket management, which includes after hours work when needed, available and agreed to Advanced understanding of the backup and restoration processes, using technologies such as Rubrik, VMware, Synology, and SRM. Relevant Industry\\Technical Certifications or specific OT/SCADA experience Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Masters and 3 years of relevant experience Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree along with relevant certifications.
