Senior Platform DevOps Engineer 12 months Onsite - Boston, in southern NH, as well as in Rhode Island and Arizona The Principal Platform Engineer role will report into the Digital Infrastructure Services organization to design, maintain and implement customer business wide orchestration and container management platforms based on Kubernetes to support program software, solutions, and products. The client is looking for someone has extensive experience automating systems, and working with Kubernetes, containers and the cloud native stack driving continuous improvement and optimization. The consultant will serve as an SME for Kubernetes and supporting the DevSecOps ecosystem. Required Skills: 8+ years of professional experience working in technical fields as a leader, architect, manager, technologist, engineer, or developer. Experience implementing automation through CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or Jenkins, and developing custom solutions using Terraform, Helm, Python, Golang, or Bash. Advanced to expert knowledge of Kubernetes, how it operates, tools that support it and development experience building solutions, automation, and new capabilities. Experience installing, deploying, supporting and maintaining Kubernetes container based platforms. Experience and knowledge on operating in air-gapped, restricted, DoD networks. Experience and knowledge on the Installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Kubernetes clusters both in the cloud, on-premises, and in regulated environments Ability to setup, maintain and automate across various infrastructure with VMWare, AWS GovCloud, Azure for Government, bare metal needs, and restricted networks Experience working with Rancher RKE2, OpenShift Container Platform, VMWare Tanzu, and other leading Kubernetes platforms Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment information technology New Hampshire |
