Position:100% Remote Lead ETL Developer (Snowflake) Location: 100% remote Duration: 6 Month Contract. Need LinkedIn, Photo ID and last 4 digit SSN Job Description: Summary: The Lead ETL Developer will be in charge of the design and creation of Data Warehouse-related functions, including extraction, transformation, and loading of data Expected to have specialized working knowledge in Cloud platforms, especially Snowflake Someone who has the necessary technical expertise to build and maintain sustainable ETL solutions around Data Modeling and Data Profiling to support identified needs and expectations Responsibilities: Lead the technical planning, architecture, estimation, development, and testing of ETL solutions Create data models that are aligned with requirements Design, develop, and support ETL mapping using strong SQL skills with experience in developing ETL specifications Focus on ETL aspects, including performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of Data Warehouse solutions Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate end-to-end ETL solutions Demonstrate experience with gathering requirements and defining the strategy for 3rd party Data Ingestion methodologies, such as SAP HANA and Oracle Demonstrate understanding and experience on most of the following architectural styles: Layered Architectures, Transactional Applications, PaaS-based Architectures, and SaaS-based Applications Demonstrate experience with designing ETL-based Cloud PaaS and SaaS solutions Qualifications: 8+ years of ETL Development experience. Working knowledge in Cloud platforms, especially Snowflake. Hands-on experience in the following: Using technologies, such as Data Build Tool (dbt), Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams, Bulk Loader, and implementing Role Based Access Control (RBAC) policies Implementing Airflow orchestration best practices, such as creating Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAG), as well as hands-on knowledge in Python and PySpark Data Modeling, Master and Operational Data Stores, Data Ingestion and Distribution patterns, ETL/ELT technologies, Relational and Non-Relational Databases, and Database Optimization patterns Experience with architecture modeling tools and maintaining architectural artifacts Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and encourage partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment Should be a self-starter and team player, capable of working with a team of Architects, Developers, and Business Analysts Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Bachelors Degree is preferred; equivalent real-world work experience will be considered Experience with SAP data models, Azure Cloud, and DevOps implementation is preferred Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred Company Description: Paradigm Technology is a strategic Professional Services organization which primarily focuses on delivering high value solutions in Digital and Business Transformation.
