Job description:

As an Okta IAM Engineer on the team, you'll be responsible for providing Identity and Access Management (IAM) expertise in supporting the client's current cybersecurity capabilities. You'll play a critical role in the world of identity and access management and zero trust as a Subject Matter Expert on a security engineering team. You'll interface with stakeholders and engineering teams to delve into the details and dependencies of critical processes and users' roles within them. You'll apply knowledge of IAM solutions and frameworks to conceptualize, design, and implement secure access management solutions. You'll assess existing client environment and provide recommendations for MFA solutions that address various Authentication Assurance Levels. You will analyze emerging authentication technologies to design and implement Access Management solutions that support both internal and external users. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, develop and tweak documentation and provide senior level briefing on recommendations and strategy. This is your opportunity to use your experience in IAM for the protection of systems, networks and information. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:

5+ years of experience with engineering IAM systems and implementing SSO and MFA solutions

5+ years of experience with delivering large-scale access management solutions to support large complex enterprise cybersecurity systems

Experience integrating Okta with various applications, systems, and directories to enable single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and user provisioning

Experience with Okta, Microsoft Active Directory Federation Service (ADFS), Microsoft Azure AD, or Ping Identity

Experience with configuring and customizing Okta, including application integrations, policy creation, and user provisioning

Knowledge of Cybersecurity operations, federal compliance standards, FISMA, and NIST 800 series

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot Okta related issues, whether they be with user access, integrations, or other technical issues

Ability to provide strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to create and maintain documentation regarding Okta configurations, integrations, and best practices

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Masters degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or technical equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience or a total of 20 years in lieu of education

Nice If You Have:

Experience with VA

Public Trust

Experience with CA Product Suite, including CA SSO and Site-Minder, CA API-Gateway, CA Advanced Authentication a plus

Okta Certified Professional or Okta Certified Administrator
