Java Solution Architect with AWS & DevOps 12+ Month Contract Johnston RI (Onsite) Responsibilities: Drive and facilitate team discussion of innovative ways to improve services Create, prioritize, and refine Kanban backlog/board in collaboration with Scrum Master to deliver most valuable work first while ensuring technical integrity of all features or components Create patterns and design documents aligning to supported applications. Prepare Solution Documents and present to TB (Technology Board)/ARB (Architecture Review Board) Competencies (Project Specific Skills) Experience working with an Agile delivery model. Strong ability to provide Technical Leadership to engineering teams Strong Technical Analysis skills Experience delivering AWS deployments using EC2/EBS across multiple regions Strong full stack development skills with tools like SpringBoot and Angular At least 5 years of development experience in Java 8, Spring, Springboot, Restful Services, Rest API, Microservices. At least 3 years of experience in Java script, Typescript, Angular JS At least 3 years of Experiance in SQL/Oracle/postgreSQL and Unix scripting At least 2 years of working experience in Devops and AWS technologies Strong experience with application containers Strong DevOps background with tools like OpenShift/Kubernetes Hands on experience with security concepts such as server hardening standards and security implementations.
