Position : Senior Business Intelligence Architect Location : Dallas, TX ( Onsite ) Duration : 6 Months Rate : $72/HR on C2C Job Summary: The Sr. BI Architect plays a crucial role by ensuring that data-driven insights are used to drive decision-making across various departments. To be effective in this role, an individual would typically need a combination of technical, business, and soft skills in the industry for 8-10 years. A combination of foundational skills, the capacity to learn, and the ability to adapt to new challenges are critical indicators of success. Essential Functions, Technical Skills: Architecture : Lead and manage architecture solution, support, and development of ad-hoc and long-term Power BI Reports for a big data application. Data Analysis : Proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative research, and predictive modelling is crucial. Data Visualization : Ability to translate complex data into intuitive visual reports using Power BI. Data Warehousing : Familiarity with concepts and technologies like ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), OLAP (Online Analytical Processing), and data warehousing solutions. Tools Proficiency : Experience with analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Adobe Analytics, and specialized industry-specific software. Business Skills: Strategic Thinking : Ability to align data and analytics strategy with business objectives. Industry Knowledge : Understanding of the Manufacturing or Oil & Gas industry's challenges, trends, and business model. Problem Solving : Aptitude for identifying business problems and providing data-driven solutions. Project Management : Skills to oversee multiple projects, prioritize, and ensure they are completed on schedule. Soft Skills: Communication : Capacity to explain complex data findings in simple terms to stakeholders and team members.
