A senior who can help his Flink development team, guiding and helping them implement custom solutions through Flink. Seasoned Java developer who knows about all aspects of SDLC. Worked on integrations of other technologies with Flink, eg: Kafka, MongoDB, etc Azure experience in the areas of Messaging, Data processing, preferably on Flink or on Databricks. Role:Flink Lead Location: Dallas, TX Duration: Long Term Project Responsible in deploying and maintaining large-scale streaming ETL pipelines, storage, and processing services. Responsible for uptime and maintenance of streaming compute platform. Responsible for setting up streaming frameworks like flink for large scale streaming ingestion both on premises and in cloud, preferably Azure Partner with fellow data engineers to define and deploy requirements for the platform. Deploying and debugging streaming applications to take them to production. Requirements: 10+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years of experience in big data streaming technologies In-depth knowledge and experience in one or more large scale distributed technologies including but not limited to: Hadoop ecosystem, Kafka, Flink, Spark Experience building high performance distributed systems, solving large scale engineering challenges.
