| Role: Sr Business Analyst Duration: 3-6 Months: Contract Work Location: Columbus, OH - 100% remotely Start Date: ASAP Visas: Open to US Citizens only due to the nature of the project Process: Phone Interview > Skype Interview > Hire PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Senior IT Business Analyst (BA) supports the Business Relationship Managers (BRM) and is responsible for eliciting stakeholder business requirements, their assessment, documentation, and translation to technology teams. In addition, the BA serves the business by working closely with technology teams and BRMS to ensure that business needs are met through technical solutions. As part of a highly collaborative team, the role will interact with many technical and business resources across the enterprise. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry expertise 8+ years of progressive professional experience as an IT business analyst, on software development projects Advanced expertise with both traditional Waterfall and Agile / Lean methodologies Excellent MS-Excel, SQL and Visio skills. TFS expertise preferred. Extensive expertise planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives. Advanced expertise modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques. Advanced expertise in business analysis planning and monitoring, elicitation, requirements analysis, design definition and solution evaluation from various stakeholders Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing. Strong requirements modeling and process mapping skills. CBAP Certification preferred. Professional certification in Agile methodology is preferred.
