| Dear Vendors, Please share the profile for the below role Job Title: Senior Cloud Architect Job Location: St. Louis, Jacksonville, FL, Columbus, OH, or Greenville, SC-hybrid schedule coming in once per week. Job Type: 6 Months Contract to Hire role Required: Only GC, USC The Sr. Cloud Architect is responsible for establishing and overseeing Client cloud strategy including: developing and driving cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, implementation, documentation, transition, cloud management and monitoring across the enterprise. This role will work very closely with the solutions architects in influencing and adopting cloud technology platforms, tools, and services with a goal of performance and enhanced security. Roles & Responsibilities: Maintains in-depth knowledge of the strategic business plans of the department and respective business unit. Provides architectural consulting expertise, direction, and assistance to systems analysts, systems engineers, and other system architects for cloud initiatives. Maintains in-depth knowledge of companys existing IT architecture, infrastructure, and technology portfolio. Develops, documents, communicates, and enforces technology standards for cloud development and implements standards for cost optimizations and efficiencies. Conducts research on emerging technologies in support of cloud development efforts and recommends technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and flexibility. Designs, develops, and oversees implementation of end-to-end cloud systems. Develops and executes test plans to check technical performance, reports on findings and makes recommendations for improvement. Provides guidance and direction to team members for cloud development practices. Organizes and participates in reviews of code and design. Provide Cloud guidance and architectural oversight during requirements, design, development, and delivery to ensure that the end-to-end solution remains aligned to the strategy and target architecture. Ensures cloud solutions meet the Companys quality, security and compliance requirements. Trains other employees on day-to-day operational support duties related to cloud infrastructure as needed. Other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills: Advanced level of understanding of information processing principles and practices. Advanced knowledge of programming languages within respective division. Advanced knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Advanced level of interpersonal and consultative skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Knowledge of defining scalable and secure cloud solutions or service architectures. Ability to define solutions that rely on DevOps principles and related tools. Knowledge of defining solutions according to security and compliance requirements. Knowledge of cloud platform security controls, network boundary controls and related design patterns. Able to work efficiently within a delivery-centric professional services team. Able to effectively navigate client-facing engagements. Able to communicate clearly with other team members, management and clients. Willing to learn, collaborate, contribute and improve.
