Please forward your updated resume to [email protected] JOB DECRIPTION:- Role:- Network Architect Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite) SCOPE OF WORK: Under the resulting PO, the selected Contractor shall provide staff to fill contract positions who can work the requested schedule, perform the tasks required, and who possess the qualifications as set forth in this RFQ. Work Tasks and Qualifications for each position are located in the IT Staff Augmentation Services STC and within this RFQ. Primary duties related to this position include but are not limited to the following. The Contractor shall provide the following service tasks for the unit in which they are augmenting over the course of the PO period Service Delivery: Provide support, ongoing maintenance, and required modifications to Network Access Control (NAC) Aruba Clear Pass and Akamai Zero Trust solutions. Work with Aruba Clear Pass and Akamai Zero Trust to develop and implement the application, adhering to all State of Florida security guidelines. Assist in designing the Aruba Clear Pass and Akamai Zero Trust Solution and Strategic plan for agency customers. Provide research and analytical services for Aruba Clear Pass and Akamai Zero Trust solutions. Develop a protocol for implementing newly developed Aruba Clear Pass and Akamai Zero Trust solutions within the existing environment. Implement changes to the newly developed Aruba Clear Pass and Akamai Zero Trust solutions when authorized and in accordance with Agency Change Management/Service Request procedures. Create technical documentation associated with Aruba Clear Pass and Akamai Zero Trust solutions upon request. Conduct Pilot projects and research new technologies to support current or new processes as needed. Create complete and accurate project documentation. Develop timelines as requested. Evaluate and recommend improvements to systems and/or processes as requested. Evaluate system tools and determine their usefulness to the Agency and its customers environment. Maintain accurate and detailed accounting of hours worked and tasks completed foreach project. Mentor junior and journeymen Cybersecurity staff. Work within the constraints of the Agency policies on security, privacy, and procedures Support and comply with all Agency policies and procedures. Document work activities through Agency Change Management, Service Desk and Cost allocation procedures. Reporting for emergency duty is required as part of this position. Emergencies may occur at any time and create varying degrees of damage, human suffering, injury, death, and property damage or destruction. The NWRDC/SDC, along with many other local and state agencies, has responsibilities before, during, and/or after emergencies. The NWRDC/SDC Consultants are an important part of our emergency responsibilities. In the event of an emergency, unless Consultant is granted a temporary exemption from emergency duty, Consultant may be required to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days to perform emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural. Internal Processes & Support Follows all established team processes and procedures Facilitates product purchases and maintenance renewal efforts Develops documentation for support processes, systems, and procedures Participates in the change management process Tracks time for Professional Services billing purposes Provides second-level technical support assistance to internal and external customers Maintains security, confidentiality, and availability of systems Monitors Service Desk ticketing system and responds appropriately based on published time expectations Must be available for on-call and/or overtime duties as required Participates in Computer Security and Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) events, where required Develops quality control methods for ensuring platform output meets standards Equipment: The Contractor shall provide the workstation used by the Consultant(s), including any required monitors and peripherals. The computer must, at a minimum, meet the following requirements: Must be compatible with Windows 10. Must have at least 16 GB RAM and a quad-core Intel CPU. Must have an internal hard drive of at least 500 GB (SSD preferred) that supports OPEL encryption. Must support simultaneous dual HD monitors and be supplied with a dual HD monitor configuration. Must support TPM 1.2 or greater. The BIOS must be unlocked. All personal data must be removed from the computer in advance, as the machine will be formatted and re-imaged per Agency standards. Must be provided to the Agency at least three (3) days in advance of the Consultant(s) reporting for work, with the matching power supply. Must be returned to the Agency at PO term end to be formatted of all data and applications. Note: system will not be restored to its prior state. Contractor is responsible for reloading operating systems and applications previously on the workstation. The contract staff will be provided with a mobile phone QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: The Agencys preferred Consultant Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include: Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, applications development, database design and administration; one to two years of experience with information security. Require knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms. Complexity: Intermediate professional level role. Works independently or on multiple IT security projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader. Works on small to large, complex security issues or projects that require increased skill in multiple IT functional areas. May coach more junior staff. Thanks & Regards ..
