Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid (40% remote, 60% onsite) Additional Information: Candidate MUST have at least 10 years of total IT experience* Candidate MUST provide a copy of their degree and any relevant certifications 40% remote work and 60% on-site work at the Maryland Judiciary Information Systems, 189 Harry S Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401. Candidate with government experience Project Scope: Located in Annapolis, Maryland, Judicial Information Systems (JIS) is comprised of six units including application development and support, hardware installation and maintenance, operation of the Data Center computer systems, and support of online case management and business applications at the District and Circuit Courts across the state. Mandatory Skills: 1. Associate degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field, as determined by the AOC. 2. Eight (8) years of CONUS technical experience in IT networking. 3. Possess active (i.e., not expired) certification for Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or Security Certification. 4. Proficient with the following: a. High Availability in Enterprise b. Scalable routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF). c. Advanced WAN service layers, SDWANs and WAN Optimization applications. d. Current Network Security applications, services and appliances including Identity Management, Network Access Control, Application Layer Inspection, Content and Malware Filtering, Data Loss and Intrusion Prevention, zero-day threats, IPsec and SSL VPN, PKI, Two-Factor Authentication and other. e. Network Management Protocols, Applications and Operating System capabilities. 5. Experience with: a. Layer 2&3 optimization and boundary, virtual switching systems. b. Enterprise Data Center and cloud Networking for Virtualization, SDN, Load Balancing, storage. c. Zero Trust Network Access and micro-segmentation. d. Enterprise VoIP and physical security environments - access control and video surveillance network applications. e. Quality-of-Service design and implementation. f. Installation and configuration of Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Palo Alto platforms. g. Installation, configuration, securing and troubleshooting enterprise wireless access systems. 6. Knowledge of the following: a. Infrastructure Services and experience with IPAM products. b. IP multicast, Enterprise Video conferencing, streaming and on demand components. c. Coding languages for scripting. 7. Familiarity with major server and desktop operating systems and utilities are required. 8. Sharp troubleshooting, organizational and mentoring skills and ability work independent. 9. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team skills. Desirable Skills: 1. Bachelors degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field, as determined by the AOC 2. Ten (10) years of CONUS technical experience in IT networking. 3. Certifications issued within the last four (4) years for Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Enterprise Infrastructure or Security Certification. 4. Certifications issued within the last four (4) years for Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security (PCNSE) Certification. 5.
