Position: Instructional Designer Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: They must have a portfolio with lots of creativity and storylines that they created. Must have excellent communication skills and personality. The Instructional Designer will build online learning modules, training guides, and supporting materials, following an instructional design process. This position will use strong interpersonal, written, and visual communication skills to bring together text, images, video, and audio to educate our advisors and their staff, using adult learning techniques and all available training technology solutions for maximum efficiency and impact. The Instructional Designer will implement design and process standards for the Enterprise Training Program Development team. Responsibilities: Create highly engaging learning activities and compelling courses that enhance retention. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify target audience training needs and terminal learning objectives. Build content outlines that identify learning outcomes and the overall learner journey through a course. Design impactful e-learning templates and graphics for course development. Investigate, research, and analyze source content and audience to recommend ideal learning paths. Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods. Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, etc.). Map curricula. Build content to achieve project- or executive-defined goals (adoption, decreased support calls, etc.) Build supplemental exercises and activities to enhance the learning process. Stay current with the latest trends and changes in curriculum development and implementation. Requirements: Experience in instructional design for 6+ years (developing interactive e-learning courses, facilitation guides, workshops, and/or other training materials) Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast paced, dynamic environment Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with peers, SMEs, and other business partners Proactive and solution-centric mindset Experience in pitching, writing, and persuading with creative briefs Advanced knowledge of media production processes and workstreams Financial services knowledge is a plus. Tools experience: Articulate (Storyline and Rise), Adobe Suite (After Effects is a plus, but video editing experience is required), Camtasia, animation tools (Vyond, Powtoon or other), Canva Keywords: |
