Required 5 Years Relevant work experience with supportive Information systems security certifications (e.g.,(ISC)2 CSSLP and CISSP, CRISC, various SANS certifications) Highly desired 3 Years Description: Architecture Design: Develop and implement information security architecture and technology solutions to address the current and emerging information security and compliance requirements of the county. Vulnerability & Threat Management: Configure vulnerability assessment tools, performing scans, coordinating Penetration Tests, analyzing vulnerabilities, identifying relevant threats, recommending corrective actions, and summarizing results for relevant operational teams, assess information security techniques for engineering design, analysis, and support for routers, firewalls, networks, and operating systems. Also, develop processes and procedures to seek out indicators of compromise that conventional information security processes cannot find, and track threats and campaigns aimed at Chesterfield County. Configuration Management: Configure information security systems, parameters, and settings in accordance with county standards and industry best practices. Incident Response and Business Continuity: Develop, recommend, and maintain Incident Response and Business Continuity standards and processes that help uncover, resist, and recover from security incidents. Compliance Support: Ensure that county systems, processes and procedures adhere to county and information security regulatory requirements, policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and best practices. Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of emerging information security technologies.
