Job Title: .Net Developer Client: Cognizant/Fiserv Location: Hagerstown, MD (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: Seamlessly Develop new code, Migrate / Upgrade existing code from .NET Framework (including ASP .NET web forms) to the latest version of .NET Core Required skills: ASP.NET, .Net Core, .Net Framework Nice to have skills: Bitbucket, C#, GITHUB, Jenkins, Jira, Splunk, SQL Server Experience: 6-10 years (8+ years preferred) Top 3 Must Haves: .NET expertise, including experience developing/architecting and leading complex .NET projects/migrations Experience in Core .net development. Experience in code Migrations from .NET Framework to Core Ideally experience writing transition pieces in .NET Standard that will let Framework and Core code work together Strong written and verbal communication skills Roles & Responsibilities: Analyze the existing .NET Framework code to understand the overall architecture, code structure, connectivity to database, apps, APIs, etc Work closely with the client development team / architect to identify key dependencies, risks / issues, if any Understand and agree upon coding standards, testing process etc with client development team / architect.
