Position: DevOps with backend experience Location: Remote working Duration: 6-12 Months This person should have backend development experience, but the role is more devOps than developer. This person would help us run our User access reviews and troubleshoot issues in PROD, document processes. Strong communication with customers and stakeholders is key. Able to do excel and data analysis is important. Good customer facing skills to teach people how to use our tools, able to explain to both a technical and non-technical person. Mandatory Skills Required: Java, Spring, REST API, Microservices, AWS BS in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field/experience 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java Good at writing clean, modular, readable, and testable Java code Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms, writing optimal code, utilizing common design patterns, establishing engineering best practices Strong knowledge of Spring Boot framework, a good understanding of REST API principles and best practices Experience building Microservices Proficient with CI/CD practices and production deployment Experience developing in AWS Cloud Platform Experience with Container (Docker) and Container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes Strong problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing Experience in UI frameworks like React, Backbone, Angular Experience in mid-tier like Node and Java Experience with Relational Database Design and Implementation Nice to Have: For a full stack developer they should also know front end (React, app fabric, etc) Able to use git/github, and AWS knowledge is a plus Familiarity with basic web application security concepts Experience delivering complex, enterprise class applications Ability to explain technical solutions to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders Experience with Background in Identity and Access Management Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment user interface information technology golang |
