Skills and Experience University degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems related discipline with 8+ years of progressive IT/ Functional Business Analyst or JDE Developer experience, 3+ years Distribution industry experience and 5+ years working in a JDE Enterprise One environment Knowledge of software development lifecycle and software testing fundamentals Business and functional requirements development and analysis; Development and program coding, debugging programs and BSFNs, report writing; Applying process improvement methodologies; Process mapping/modeling; Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking; Time management, prioritization and organization with the ability to prioritize activities and multiple tasks at once; Excellent communication (written & oral) and facilitation; Networking and cultivating productive working relationships; Working with all levels within an organization including senior executives, managers, front lines, corporate and technical staff Demonstrates client relationship skills with a strong commitment to satisfying customers Position Overview Examines, assesses, and appraises business systems, overseeing the advancement and continual maintenance of JDE Enterprise One and associated central business applications. Proficiency in documenting requirements, delineating scope and goals, and devising systems that align with overall business strategies is essential. A bachelor's degree in the relevant field and 6-8 years of experience in the sector or a related field are necessary. Relying on substantial experience and discernment, this role is responsible for strategizing and achieving objectives through a diverse set of tasks. Proficiency in JDE Enterprise One development/programming is a prerequisite. Moreover, this individual will collaborate closely with the business and cross-functional teams to identify key objectives and synchronize business requirements. This involves close cooperation with Sales & Marketing teams to implement and sustain E-Commerce, as well as collaborating with Finance & Accounting on critical reporting and analytics. This includes understanding the metrics of success, reviewing the existing technical framework, documenting gaps, and formulating an estimate and strategy for successful implementation. Job Responsibilities Analyze, resolve, and rectify system issues promptly. Aid in the day-to-day operational upkeep of the system, including maintenance duties and user support. Collaborate with end users to comprehend their needs and devise solutions to meet their expectations. Proficient in interpreting, debugging, and modifying existing report and program code to fulfill requirements. Conduct preliminary/internal developer unit tests followed by comprehensive system testing before deploying changes to testing teams. Operate according to project plans and support tickets, ensuring project completion within set timelines, scope, and budget. Demonstrate the ability to collect, define, and document business requirements. Effectively communicate with direct peers and the end user community through meetings, written summaries, and status updates. Foster a collaborative environment, sharing ideas and contributing to the team's collective success. Provide functional and technical support for JD Edwards Enterprise One software in various application areas, including Distribution (Sales and Procurement), Manufacturing, Work Orders, BI Publisher Development, Advanced Pricing, DRP, Orchestration, Tidal Job Scheduler, TMS, Financials, E-Commerce, and Security Concepts. Manage tickets within the designated ticketing system and stay updated on current progress. Manage change control tickets, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
