Job Title: IT Project Manager Location: Mclean, VA- Hybrid (Local or nearby only) Duration: 12+ Months Visa: No H1B & Opt, Cpt Requirements: 4 years experience with JIRA with the ability to create, manage, and streamline workflows, dashboards, and reports to track project tasks. Experience in integrating JIRA with other tools or systems for financial and operational reporting. A minimum of 4 years experience in a project management role within a technology or IT setting. Proven experience in managing projects that require a distinction between capital and operational expenditures. Demonstrated experience with cross-functional team projects and an ability to work collaboratively with finance and accounting teams. Availability to work flexible hours when necessary to communicate with teams across different time zones. Hands-on experience in planning, road mapping, and setting milestones and timelines Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to report to stakeholders at all levels. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of technical systems and how they work. Responsibilities: Lead the use of JIRA within the organization, ensuring all tasks are accurately recorded, categorized, and tracked against the correct operations or capital expenditure. Understand the team dynamics and responsibilities of each team to align better Collaborate with finance to establish processes and JIRA configurations that distinguish between operational tasks and those that should be capitalized, in accordance with accounting standards. Facilitate the planning and execution of cross-team projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration of timelines. Develop and maintain project roadmaps, ensuring they align with broader business objectives and financial guidelines.
