Identity and Access Management Migration Specialist (ISAM and ISIM security) - HYBRID Detroit, MI 10 months NO H1B, CPT, OPT Top 3 Required Skills/Experience 5 years of experience in the Information Technology field ISAM/ISIM and Single sign on is a must. Identity and Access Management Migration Engagement Description We are planning to migrate the Group Portal from its current Websphere Platform to the same technology planned for the Agent Portal upgrade (which is planned for 2023). This will not include experiential upgrades but will focus on a technology change. The second component of the upgrade incorporates changes in the Group Identity and Access (IAM) system. o Specifically, it calls for the replacement of IBMs ISAM and ISIM security components. o They will be replaced using the same technical pattern that will be put in place on the Agent Portal in 2023. Capabilities include Registration, Single Sign On, and Delegated Administration. Identity and Access Management Migration Specialist Description of the ideal candidate's experience for the role: Single Sign On is a Must Here The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise and project management skills. They should have experience in migrating identity and access management systems and have a deep understanding of the technologies involved. Here are the key qualifications and experience required for this role: 1. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with identity and access management (IAM) systems, including IBM's ISAM and ISIM. Proficiency in the technical aspects of IAM components, such as Registration, Single Sign On (SSO), and Delegated Administration. Experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions using modern IAM technologies and industry best practices. 2. Migration Experience: Proven experience in planning and executing complex migrations of IAM systems, particularly from one technology platform to another. Familiarity with the challenges and considerations associated with IAM system migration, including data migration, configuration transfer, and testing. 3. Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, allocate resources, and meet project deadlines. Experience in coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security professionals. 4. Technology Change: A deep understanding of the technologies involved in the migration, including the target technology planned for the Agent Portal upgrade in 2023. Ability to assess the compatibility and integration of the new IAM components with existing systems and applications. 5. Security Expertise: Knowledge of security best practices and an understanding of how IAM systems contribute to an organization's overall security posture. Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations related to identity and access management. 6. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and to facilitate effective collaboration within the project team. 7. Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and resolve issues and challenges that may arise during the migration process. 8. Risk Management: Proficiency in assessing and mitigating risks associated with the migration project, including data security and system availability. 9. Documentation: Thorough documentation skills to maintain records of the migration process, configurations, and any changes made during the project. Overall, the ideal candidate for this role should be a seasoned IAM professional with a proven track record in successfully migrating IAM systems while ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining the security and accessibility of systems. Required Skills/Experience Five (5) years of Information Technology experience required. Two (2) years project management and experience leading projects required. Project management tool and methodology working knowledge required. Plan, develop and implement project efforts that utilize information technology solutions. Develop, establish and maintain project management standards and procedures. Develop the project scope, defining project guidelines, obtaining business and information technology sponsor approvals and coordinating the resources necessary to successfully complete the project. Manage multiple medium to large-sized, moderate to highly complex enterprise-wide projects. Education/Certifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology/Management related fields preferred.
