We are currently looking a Sr Cloud Architect with Azure & AWS Sr Cloud Architect with Azure & AWS 100% Remote. Key Ares of Responsibility: Validate infrastructure and cloud request to meet standards and fit environment; standard solutions apply in many cases. Provide thought leadership to ensure effective capacity management, environmental health, and overall management of activities. Keep abreast of emerging cloud technology trends and their impact on cloud solutions. Work with requestors to understand and qualify specific requirements. Track and review usage, consumption, availability, and implementation request. Design and implement cloud solutions for an organization, ensuring the smooth functioning of cloud systems with minimal downtime. Complete the solution to include all required SW, networking, monitoring, security, and ongoing support needs. Create tech specs to implement the solution. Key Desired Skills, Experience and Knowledge: 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture design and development. 10+ years of hands-on cloud migration experience in Azure. Experience in Oracle Cloud (OCI) is a plus. Experience with Azure and AWS technologies (incl. Big Data across either platform). Experience integrating AWS/Azure cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc. Experience developing complex client or business solutions utilizing current technologies including workflows, validation rules, and if necessary, security controls. Ability to proactively identify risks and leverage analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment to mitigate and resolve issues. Ability to work with and communicate to executive leadership. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
