Title: Azure Engineer (IOT Hub) Location: Houston TXa Duration: 6+ months Responsibilities for this role include deploying physical devices, configuring, and maintaining them by using cloud services, and maintaining and troubleshooting the configuration throughout the device lifecycle. IoT developers are also responsible for implementing design specifications for IoT solutions, including device topology, connectivity, diagnostics and monitoring, and security. To develop and deploy modules and configure device networking for the IoT Edge portion of the solution. In addition to this, to implement designs for solutions to manage data pipelines, including monitoring and data transformation as they relate to IoT. Should have a general understanding of device types and cloud services, including data storage options, data analysis, data processing, AI, and other platform as a service (PaaS) option Experience in implementing Device Management Functionalities Experience Building IoT Solutions Experience in leverage IoT SDK and deploying in Gateway Experience in handling real time event, complex even processing, stream processing. 7+ years of experience in ingesting and performing advance analytics on data from multiple sources, including batch analytics, interactive analytics, real-time/streaming analytics Experience in writing C# applications, working with Multithreading Strong API design skills, Knowledge of MS Framework, LINQ, understanding of Task-based asynchronous pattern (TAP) Experience working on WCF or similar technolgies utilized for IPC on windows Understanding of .NET expression trees and dynamic programming concepts is a plus Hand on experience of "IIoT solutions building" from device to enterprise (Database, Business Intelligence) and communication protocol like MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, XAMP. Hands on experience of at least couple of "IoT end to end solution". Good understanding of PLC, SCADA and industrial protocols like Modbus, BACnet and experience/exposure in Industry4.0 applications. Understanding of Enterprise applications (ERP, SAP) with IoT Platforms. Good experience in Communication protocol like Wi-Fi, GPRS, LoRA and hands-on gateway development as well as Edge computing. Azure Cloud: Knowledge of IoT data ingestion into cloud platform. Good understanding of IoT Edge computing. Hands on knowledge of a IoT Hub, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Time Series Insights, Azure Functions, Azure IoT Edge / Custom IoT Edge Gateway, Azure Digital Twins and DTDL solutions. Develop highly scalable data pipelines using On-Cloud and On-Premises solutions. Connect and get data from different IoT sources/protocols. IoT Hub Service and Device SDK Knowledge. Database: Worked on DBs like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB & Cosmos DB. Experience on Multi Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS.
