Drive standardization and best practice platform management, enabling the team to focus on value delivery. Institute technical governance to optimize platform performance and minimize long-term technical risk. Guide the implementation of new features, including integrations, which drive new value and foster end-user adoption. Provide proof-of-concept demos to accelerate design decisions. Advise on configuration and coding standards while supporting remediation of configurations not aligned to ServiceNow best practices. Assess platform health and provide recommendations. Work in an agile methodology and participate in key agile ceremonies as required to provide insight and expertise in best practice and system capabilities. Excellent communications skills required verbally and written with all levels of IT and business management SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS Expertise and experience with ServiceNow, focusing on experience with common service data model (CSDM), software asset management (SAM), discovery, and configuration management (CMDB) is required. Expertise with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 7+ years experience ITSM and ITOM specialist EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Certifications in ServiceNow System Administrator, ServiceNow Application Developer and 1-2 ServiceNow products such as Discovery, and ITOM are required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABLILTIES, AND BEHAVIORS REQUIRED Knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux, Windows), networking, databases, cloud technology, monitoring tools, and other technical services. Knowledge of Agile methodology and software development lifecycle Extensive knowledge of IT principles and controls.
