Education and Years of Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Science, or 7+ years of IT/Programming experience. Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs for the Marketing Cloud. Technologist experience in application integration with other systems including knowledge/experience in API integrations. Advanced level SQL and relational database experience. Advance and hands on experience (at least 5 years) with developing and designing solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud including: Journey Builder, Email Studio, Social Studio, Analytics Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Einstein Analytics. Being certified on it. Proficient with AMPscript, SSJS, XML, and other web development languages (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript). Experience with web development design languages, scripting tools, and protocols such as HTTP, CSS, XSLT, AJAX, JQuery. Experience developing solutions in both large and small enterprises, including the challenges of integrating Marketing Cloud into complicated and legacy enterprise architectures and processes. Strong team and interpersonal skills Effective communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze and develop best practices Ability to balance multiple projects and changing requirements. Ability to describe any highly technical aspect of Marketing Cloud or other software platform, in clear, natural language easily understood by a non-technical person. Ability to translates business, and functional requirements into documented technical specifications or User Stories. Partner with the team to debug and diagnose complex defects, conduct root cause analysis, and make resolution recommendations. Produces quality code and can assist with performing peer quality assurance on code and processes. Understands digital marketing strategy and production processes. Understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud best practices and of the Salesforce Platform At least 2 years of experience utilizing/administrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create successful campaigns. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM. Marketing Cloud Connector, and MobileConnect experience preferred.
