Role: Network Service Orchestrator (NSO) Developer Location: - Remote - Need to work for EST Time Job Description: Network Service Orchestrator (NSO) Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Cisco NSO Service Packs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Cisco NSO, YANG modelling, and network protocols. They will also have experience with software development best practices and automation frameworks and tools. Qualifications: 5 + years of exp. Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Specialized in Orchestration, Automation, and Infrastructure Management tasks for supporting the deployment of applications or services for projects focused on the Telecommunications sector. Experience in integrating platforms and services by designing and implementing APIs using Python, orchestrating workflows with frameworks like Camunda, writing tasks in JavaScript or Bash, and managing containerized infrastructure. Design and Implementation of APIs using Python Fast-API and Django frameworks. 3+ years of experience with Cisco NSO 2+ years of experience with YANG modelling 2+ years of experience with network protocols (NETCONF, RESTCONF, SNMP, etc.) 2+ years of experience with software development best practices 2+ years of experience with automation frameworks and tools (Paramiko, FAST API, Git, etc.) Strong programming skills (Python, Java, C++, etc.) Experience with Cisco CrossWorks Network Services Orchestrator Experience with other network automation solutions (Ansible, Netmiko, etc.) Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.) Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Understanding of Cisco Network Controllers. Good to have: Cisco Certified DevNet Associate. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Cisco NSO Service Packs Work with network engineers and operations teams to understand their automation needs and requirements. Implement new features and functionality in Cisco NSO Service Packs, including support for new YANG models and network protocols Fix bugs and improve the performance of Cisco NSO Service Packs Create and maintain documentation for Cisco NSO Service Packs Work with other developers to develop and implement new automation use cases. Provide training and support to network engineers and operations teams on Cisco NSO Service Packs.
