Job Title: Wifi Test Engineer (Advanced Wi-Fi Router Solutions) Location: Hybrid model - 3 days onsite and the location Denver CO and 2 days Remote. Job Summary: Responsible for Integration and Functional Testing on 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be Advanced Wi-Fi Routers, Candidate must have hands on testing experience in Wifi 6E and Wifi7 Routers, Candidate must be SME in Wifi Network, LAN/WLAN, Wireless Security, DNS, and DHCP services, Candidate must Coordinate with Design, Architecture, Development, and Operations to ensure optimal customer experience. Must have hands-on working experience in Networking and Cable Industry, Responsible for coordinating with onshore and offshore team members. Responsible for development of test strategies and the design of quality assurance practices. Overall Experience: 5-7 Years Required qualifications : Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) Self-starter, self-motivated, driven individual Candidate must have hands on testing experience in Wifi 6E and Wifi7 Routers Ability to work well with shifting priorities Good knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be Wireless Networking Standards, TCP/IP, VLANS and routing protocols Good Knowledge on Unix and Linux Commands, Solid understanding of the OSI model Good Knowledge on WLAN/LAN/WAN Network Engineering and implementation with hand-on Troubleshooting skills Proficient understanding of Networking terminology and components (e.g., DHCP, IP Routing) Deep understanding and prior experience working on 802.11 MAC/PHY protocols & 802.11 specifications Programming experience in any of the scripting languages (PERL, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, etc.) Good Understanding in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and systems. Proficient with network analysis tools, such as Wireshark, Wi-Fi Analyzer, Heat Mapping Tools, Ping Plotter) Proficient using JIRA for work management and reporting Experience with Test Rails is a plus Creative solving of technical problems to ensure the ability to translate technical requirements Ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environment Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Ability to provide coaching and counselling when necessary Ability to supervise and motivate others Strong leadership skills with proven ability to provide effective, results oriented direction Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners.
