Job Description Must Skills: ETL, Data Modelling, SQL, Datastage, Teradata, , Netezza, Airflow, TWS, Unix, Python, Perl, Sonar Q We are currently looking for a Senior Data engineer, having exceptional technical skills in data analysis, database design and development, and analytical skills. Candidates will be key contributors in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting database application solutions, consistent with defined specifications and business requirements. Positions in this function are predominantly involved in developing robust database application solutions that uses hybrid transactional/ analytical processing methods which establishes a standard set of quality and efficiency measures for healthcare providers. Measures are based on evidence-based, medical society and national industry standards specifications. Developed applications uses transparent clinical methodology, incorporating statistical methods and algorithms to enrich and analyze data to evaluate physicians across multiple specialty areas to advance safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and patient-centered care. Candidates are also expected to be recognized database technology thought leaders and functional subject matter experts in the Healthcare Performance Measurement domain. Responsibilities Include: Performs and participates in all required design reviews (e.g., peer reviews, business/partner reviews). Develops technical specifications/design documents as defined in application/system designs. Develops application/system code as defined in technical specifications. Creates unit test plans, executes unit testing and documents results to ensure that code works as designed. Ensures integration with testing groups (e.g., UAT, CTP). Conducts all required reviews (e.g., code coverage, code reviews, test plan reviews), as applicable. Works with database teams to evaluate and establish applicable database technical requirements. Works with configuration/release management to develop release plans that ensure proper applications deployment. Analyzes defects identified by operational support groups (e.g., Systems Support) for remediation and inclusion in future application/system releases. Participates in the application deployment process, as needed. Provides ongoing expertise to operational support groups (e.g., Systems Support) in order to address identified application problems/issues, as requested. Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree or higher. 5 or more years of SQL Server 2016+ database applications design and development experience. 5 or more years of SQL Stored procedures development experience dealing with large volume health care data utilizing complex database T-SQL queries & stored procedures, and performance tuning. 5 or more years of SSIS development experience with ETL and complex data processing. 5 or more years of SQL data analysis using SQL Server 2016+ and/ or other compatible RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, Teradata). 3 or more years of working experience using Microsoft Visual Studio in developing SQL applications. 3 or more years of Relational database design and data modeling experience.
