Requires at least 8 plus years of experience with Oracle databases, including implementations, upgrades, conversions, and consolidations. Required Skills: Oracle Database Proficiency: Solid knowledge of Oracle 19c and technical database concepts . Experience in designing, creating, and managing large, complex Oracle databases. Cloud and On-Premise Expertise: Proficiency in database management on both on-premises and AWS cloud environments. Knowledge and experience with AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Automation and Scripting: Strong automation skills, including Ansible, Python, and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC). Data Modeling: Proficient in data modeling, including both physical and logical data modeling. Database Performance Optimization: Expertise in Oracle performance analysis tools, such as ASH and AWR, for advanced tuning. Experience in reducing complexity and cost through automation. Exadata Management: Expertise in managing and maintaining Oracle Exadata environments. Database Migration and Upgrades: Experience in database consolidation, migrations, conversions, and upgrades. Facilitation of database migration from on-premises systems to the cloud. Security and User Access: Control and monitor user access to databases and maintain database security. Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborative work with application teams and cloud organizations. Maintenance of documentation for systems and standard operating procedures. Mentoring and Education: Provide technical assistance and mentor junior team members. Educate and influence stakeholders to promote understanding and best practices.
