Role: Data Engineer Location: Remote / Plano, TX Responsibilities Act as data POC for both internal and external teams Develop a deep understanding of business domain knowledge and BI environment. Share knowledge with BI Team and other stakeholders Design data integrations and data quality framework Identify and resolve data integrity issues Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines. Conduct unit/integration tests. Design, develop and maintain data warehouse data models, ETLs, and metadata management Contributes to engineering wiki, and document work Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available Troubleshoot and accountable for data related issues. Work with systems & tools team to ensure source data availability Increase data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization Work closely with other data engineers at the company to develop strategy for long term data platform architecture Provide both verbal and written weekly status updates to all stakeholders Create dashboards to track and monitor tasks Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of expert knowledge in writing SQL, Python, and data pipelines 5+ years in data schema design and relational / dimensional data modeling 5+ years in developing ETL processes 5+ years in relational DB, 3+ years in Presto and Hive 1+ years with Tableau Strong time management skills Self-starter with min supervision Knowledge of Scrum Agile development Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills Customer service oriented During the Tech Interview: Must demonstrate the high proficiency in SQL Must demonstrate the high proficiency in Tableau Must demonstrate the high proficiency in Python Thanks & Regards Meenu Singh Sr.Technical recruiter [email protected] Cell: 669-900-0661 |
