Consider other Azure or data-related certifications based on broader role requirements, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals Please find the below JD Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer Duration: Part time (up to 20 hrs./week) 3 - 6 months, can go long Location: Remote Job Description Power BI Development : Proficiency in creating complex reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop. Power BI Service & Report Server: Experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Power BI Service (cloud) and/or Power BI Report Server (on-prem/cloud VMs). Administration & Governance: Skills in managing workspaces, apps, and datasets in Power BI Service. Understands best practices for report lifecycle management, version control, and data governance. DAX: Strong skills in Data Analysis Expressions for creating custom calculations, aggregations, and measures. Power Query: Experience in data transformation and ETL processes using Power Query and the M language. Power BI Dataflows: Experience with self-service data preparation using Power BI dataflows. Familiarity with integrating Power BI dataflows and applying ETL at scale and setting up dataflow refresh schedules. Power BI Gateway: Knowledge of setting up and managing Power BI Gateway for on-premises data refresh scenarios (like Tableau Bridge). Data Modeling: Ability to design and implement data hierarchies and relationships in Power BI. SQL: Strong SQL skills, as many of the data sources they might connect to will likely be SQL-based (like Snowflake).
