Title: GCP CLOUD CONSUTLANTS/ARCHITECT/Manager/ GCP Program Director Location : Remote Visa: All Visa Except OPT/CPT Experience: 12+ Years Exp. This resource will have immediate responsibilities including the below. Typical PD responsibilities will ensue once the migration efforts have been initiated. Establish program governance in coordination with Google Professional Services and Google Cloud team as appropriate Advise on transitional and target operating model Assist / advise in selection of cloud migration partner Establish clear program goals and initial timelines for key milestones Advise and assist in assessment of application portfolio and target application state GCP Cloud Architect Responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Solution Design: Architect, design, and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform based on clients' requirements and industry best practices. Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and others. Stay updated with the latest GCP features and services. Infrastructure as Code: Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. Security: Implement security best practices and ensure data protection, identity management, and access control measures are in place. Conduct regular security assessments and audits. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and network engineers to integrate GCP services effectively into applications and services. Performance Optimization: Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost efficiency and performance. Monitor and analyze system performance, making recommendations for improvements. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures. Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on GCP services and best practices. GCP Cloud Operations Manager Will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cloud infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our cloud-based systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize our cloud resources. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud operations professionals. Provide guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure the team's success. Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management, monitoring, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure on GCP. Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems. Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response procedures. Coordinate with the team to promptly address and resolve incidents, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations. Cost Management: Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness. Monitor usage, analyze cost patterns, and implement strategies to optimize cloud spending without compromising performance and reliability. Security Compliance: Ensure that cloud-based systems adhere to security standards and compliance requirements. Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security policies and practices. Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring and alerting systems to track the performance and health of cloud services. Analyze performance metrics and proactively address issues to maintain optimal system performance. Capacity Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast resource requirements. Conduct capacity planning exercises to ensure our cloud infrastructure meets current and future demands. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure that the team has access to up-to-date and accurate documentation. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
