Title: Cloud Architect Location: Fort Worth, TX or Topeka, KS (3 days Hybrid) Day 01 onsite Rate: $85/hr Client: BNSF Job Description: As a Cloud-Native Java Application Migration Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing the migration of on-premises Java applications to cloud-native architectures. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless and efficient transition of our applications to the cloud. Your responsibilities will include: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience with Java application development and architecture. Strong expertise in cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes). Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing. Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Bash, or Ansible. Solid understanding of networking, security, and data storage concepts in the cloud. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
