Job Title: PTC Testing Specialist (Positive Train Control-Railroad Domain) Location: Omaha, NE Job Type: 6+ Months Contract We are currently seeking an experienced PTC Testing Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in testing and validating Positive Train Control (PTC) systems to ensure they meet operational needs and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with PTC engineering experts to understand PTC system specifications and operational requirements. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases tailored to PTC systems. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of PTC systems, including hardware and software components. Identify, report, and track defects and issues, working closely with the engineering team for resolution. Ensure PTC systems meet safety and regulatory standards in the transportation industry. Participate in on-site testing, troubleshooting, and providing technical support as needed. Assist in the development and maintenance of test automation scripts. Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and emerging trends in PTC testing. Qualifications: Proven experience in testing, with a focus on validating software or hardware products. Familiarity with PTC products and related technologies is a strong advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Experience with test automation tools and scripting is a plus.
