| From: Abhishek kumar singh, Tek Inspirations [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Cisco Network Engineer Location: Onsite (Fairfield, CT) Duration: 6+Months Visa: No H1B Interview: Skype Our client is looking to add a Cisco Engineer on a contract to hire basis! This position is responsible for installing and maintaining voice and data network infrastructure on their Cisco, Aruba, and Avaya networks. Requires being on-site 3-4 days per week in Fairfield County, CT. Examples of Duties: Assisting with the implementation and documentation of any network devices to include, but not limited to Cisco Routers, SDA Hardware, Cisco Switches, WiFi Controllers, WiFi Access Points, In-Line and out of Band Appliances, Avaya UC Endpoints Assisting in LAN related moves, additions, and changes; maintaining accurate records of all maintenance, inventory, and security measures using ITIL processes for voice and data networks. Working with ITS team members to assess and solve infrastructure challenges. Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in the installation, administration, and troubleshooting of Cisco Networking systems. Must possess a highly skilled level of knowledge of Cisco IOS, and other Cisco systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work as part of a larger team for the greater good of the University. Must have an excellent customer service orientation toward staff and campus users. Must be a motivated self-starter, especially in the area of learning new technology. Preferred Experience: Cisco ISE, and DNA Center, Cisco SDA, Cisco SD-WAN Architecture, DNA Center. Experience with HPE Aruba Mobility Manager and Aruba Airwave Controllers. Education: Associate degree in a related field and two (2) years of significant experience in the support of Cisco networks. CCNP or CCIE Type certification is preferred. Advanced Education can be substituted on a one year to one-year basis in conjunction with significant experience in the field. Thanks & Regards ..
