Job Title Location Job Description Microsoft Power Apps Developer Austin, TX Title: Microsoft Power Apps Developer Location: Remote (Need local to Texas candidate). Duration: Long-term Contract. Visa type: No H1B/CPT/OPT Job Summary: Experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Key Responsibilities: Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system. This Systems Analyst contractor positions are part of the HHSC IT Infrastructure/System Services team and will be working to develop, implement, and support the expansion of the Texas HHS Microsoft 365 Power Platform. This position will perform Systems Analyst/Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Process Advisor, Dataverse, Power Pages, Mobile Power Apps, and Integration of Power Apps into Microsoft Teams, Chatbots, Mode l[1]driven Apps, Power Apps Portals, AI Builder, Desktop Flows, Business Process Flows, and more. Required Qualifications: Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments 5 years. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate technical solutions 4 years. Microsoft Power Platform development experience 4 years. Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model 2 years. Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization 2 years. Good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project 2 years. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams 2 years. Experience in Agile development and sprint planning 2 years. Experience building chatbots and using AI Builder within Power Apps and Power Automate 1 year. Experience with Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, and business process Flows, and Process Advisor 1 year. Good understanding of Dataverse tables and uses 1 year. Good understanding of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center 1 year. Experience with Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, and Power Apps portals 1 year.
