Job description:

Role: ML Engineer

Experience: 2 years +

Location: Overlandpark, Kansas(onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months, Fulltime

 Responsibilities:

Gain a deep understanding of various analytic and AI applications and their integration into complex architectures.
Develop data ingestion and transformation infrastructure to enable the streaming of relevant data into analytic, ML, and AI applications.
Convert Machine Learning models into Application Program Interfaces (APIs) to facilitate consumption by other applications.
Automate infrastructure used by Data Science Teams.
Set up and manage analytics, ML, and AI development and product infrastructure.
Optimize various tasks within the ML pipeline.
Collaborate closely with Data Scientists to streamline the process of deploying ML models into Production while adhering to software engineering best practices for testing, security, tuning, and optimization.
Optimize ML models for performance, scalability, and reliability with a focus on continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to establish an automated data pipeline and ensure data integrity for the continuous operation of ML models.
Work alongside Security, Privacy, and Compliance specialists to secure and document the full ML pipeline in compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOX, etc.).
Develop and perform functional testing of committed user stories, tasks, and defects within a sprint cycle with a focus on high-quality deliverables.
Create and maintain automated tests and CI/CD scripts to achieve high coverage of key positive and negative use cases, ensuring no regression from release to release.
Continuously explore new tools and technologies to enhance DataOps and MLOps processes.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
Proficiency in AWS and Databricks is desired.
Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
Familiarity with various Machine Learning frameworks.
Knowledge of modular technologies such as Microservices and Docker Containers.
Deep expertise in creating REST-based APIs (JSON/YAML) using both NoSQL and SQL databases.
Understanding of CI/CD processes, DevOps toolchains, and template/container-based deployment models.
Experience with multiple Cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and Databricks.
Familiarity with Big Data architectures, including Spark/Hadoop, HDFS, and analytical processing.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Masters degree preferred.
