Role: GCP FinOps Lead Locations: Dallas, TX (Hybrid Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 3 Days every week. Local or Nearby candidates only. Requirement: Hands on Experience in monitoring cloud usage and spending on GCP resources. Expert in analyzing cost reports, billing statements, and usage data to identify cost-saving opportunities and present it stakeholders Well versed and able to utilize GCP/Non-GCP cost management tools and features, cost allocation, custom pricing, and committed use contracts, articulate to stake holders how to reduce costs. Educate and train other teams within the organization on cost management best practices. Identify cost anomalies and provide recommendations in corrective actions. Expert in providing recommendations for right-sizing resources to match actual workloads in GCP environments Communicate with security and compliance teams to address any cost-related security concerns. Strong stakeholder management skills, with an ability to engage with and influence a wide range of stakeholders Maintains roadmaps to modernize FinOps tools and technologies Works with vendors, build business cases and integrate solutions that adhere to GCP FINOPS best practices BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
