Job Description Our client is seeking a Sr Quality Engineer to join their high performing team. On the quality journey, this team is part of the scrum team, engages in ceremonies, and engineers quality scripts in parallel to features being developed! This role is responsible to engineer Scala/Java code and execute automated test cases, analyze results, report and track defects, analyze code for defect resolution, verify fixes and perform follow-up work to resolve issues. Required Skills - Quality engineering, Java, Testing framework, Scala Job Duties - Delivery high-quality automation test scripts Learn existing automation framework and automate test cases Participate in driving the quality of the product, from requirement specification through release Participate in Scrum & Agile ceremonies As a Senior, help lead the team with best practices, cross-vertical partnership, and unblocking of tasks! Job Requirements - 7+ years QA Testing 5+ years of automated QA scripting 3+ years of Scala scripting - or Java expertise and readiness to learn Scala Perform defect diagnosis and analysis with suggestion to the development team Familiarity with cloud, containerization, and DevOps flow deployment Familiarity with JIRA and GIT Desired Skills & Experience - Scala API engineering Java Dockers or Kubernetes Structured and unstructured database.
