Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Data Integration and ETL: Develop and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into P. Implement data integration solutions using tools like Apache Beam, Apache NiFi, or Google Dataflow. Big Data Technologies: Utilize P's big data services, such as BigQuery, Datastore, and Cloud Storage, to store and analyze large volumes of data. Implement solutions for batch and real-time data processing. Data Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards. Monitoring and Optimization: Set up monitoring and alerting for data pipelines to ensure data availability and performance. Optimize data processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into business processes. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, data flows, and data processes. Provide training and support to other teams on data-related tools and processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform. Strong knowledge of P services, especially BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage. Experience with data modeling and designing scalable data solutions. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools and techniques. Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Certifications: Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer is a plus.
